One of the world’s largest merchant advisory groups, BB Merchant Services, says it is expanding its presence in the Australian market.
While large global retailers such as Shell and McDonald’s’s have been using external experts to crunch their acceptance costs for decades, today it is becoming more common for merchants with annual sales of around $20 million.
However, the arrival of cross-border consultancy BB Merchant Services to Australian shores marks a significant development in the payments industry, given the firm’s size and the breadth of its activities.
BBMS has been assisting merchants on claim submissions in the UK and US class actions, opening the way for them to recover historic overcharges without incurring legal costs.
